Accessibility

Target

• WCAG 2.2 AA for the seven planning views, the desk, the library, and this page.
• Keyboard operable. Skip link to main. Focus visible on every control.
• 44px minimum on chrome and planning-view actions. Compact density does not shrink a hit area. The accessibility bar sits in the bottom-right corner, clear of the reading column and of form fields. A short notice for no signal, or for a newer version, sits above it, and only when there is something to say.
• Form fields are 16px so a phone does not zoom the page on focus.
• Color is never the only signal. Every status carries a glyph and a word as well as a color, so no reading depends on telling two hues apart. The default grounds use lichen for settled, amber for watch and red for fail closed; Color-blind safe in View settings switches those to blue, orange and vermilion.

Move between the choices in a View settings group: ground, text size, density.

Move the signature atmospheres rail. Previous and Next do the same from a tap.

On a phone

Below a wide desk the planning-view row collapses. The control is the square button at the far right of the header — two bars, or an X when the list is open. Open it. The seven planning views and the Library sit in order. A tap takes you there and closes the list. The same one-line instruction sits at the top of that list.

The name bar does not change the ground. Everything about how the page looks is in View settings, in the bar at the bottom right of every page: System, Light or Dark; color-blind safe status; reduced motion; text size; density; high contrast; and page language. On the smallest screens that bar stretches along the bottom edge, clear of the reading column.

Atmosphere OS in the header is home. This statement is linked in the footer of every page, alongside every planning view. Skip to main content is the first stop if you are using a keyboard or a switch — it clears the header rather than landing underneath it. Escape closes the menu and returns focus to the button. While the list is open the page behind it is inert.

Signature atmospheres on the home page move with Previous and Next, or the left and right arrow keys. Swiping the rail still works; it is not the only way.

Preferences

One document, saved in this browser. Nothing in it is sent to a server.

• System follows your device’s light or dark setting, and changes when it does. It is where every page starts until you pick one of the other two.
• Light is Bone Ivory: a paper ground with Midnight Ink, 16.1:1.
• Dark is Obsidian Plum: the Midnight Thistle ground, with Bone Ivory ink at 16.3:1. Cards are Velvet Aubergine. The primary button is Aged Gold with Obsidian lettering (5.8:1). Gold, brass and olive are never body text on a light ground.
• Color-blind safe moves every status to blue, orange and vermilion. The glyph and the word on each status stay the same; only the hue changes.
• Reduced motion stops transitions and movement on this device even if the device has not asked. If it has asked, the page already follows it.
• Text size is Default, Large or Extra large. It scales the whole page, controls included.
• Comfortable or compact density, high contrast, and the language of the chrome.

Those controls are in View settings, not in the name bar. Print to PDF sits beside it. When this browser can install Atmosphere OS, Install appears in that same bar. On an iPhone the only path is Share, then Add to Home Screen, and the bar says so. Once installed, it opens from the home screen, and pages already opened on this device still work with no signal.

Data stays local

Your plan stays in this browser until you explicitly move it. There is no planner account behind it and no automatic cloud copy. Save the Event Project file to your own machine when you want a portable copy; print or use the available sharing tools when you want to hand a document on.

Browser storage is not the same thing as a backup. Clearing site data, using a private window, storage pressure, or moving to another machine can leave the browser without your working copy. Save the event to a file and the file is independent of this browser — it is readable JSON, it is yours, and Atmosphere does not upload it as an account record.

Print

Every planning view and every vendor sheet is print-first. Use the browser print dialog and choose Save as PDF. Decorative plates and navigation are hidden in print.

Known limits

• Studio has a few inner controls that are not yet at the same standard as the rest of the suite.
• Planning-view copy is English. Chrome labels (settings, print, close) follow the language preference. I do not rewrite vendor briefs in another language — a silent rewrite would be a worse failure than an untranslated brief.
• Photographs from the media library need a network. The planning views do not.
