Accessibility

Target

• WCAG 2.2 AA for the seven planning views, the desk, the library, and this page.
• Keyboard operable. Skip link to main. Focus visible on every control.
• 44px minimum on chrome and planning-view actions. Compact density does not shrink a hit area. The accessibility bar is the only fixed element; it sits in the bottom-right corner, clear of the reading column and of form fields.
• Form fields are 16px so a phone does not zoom the page on focus.
• Colour is never the only signal. Color-safe palette is Okabe–Ito.

Move the signature atmospheres rail. Previous and Next do the same from a tap.

On a phone

Below a wide desk the planning-view row collapses. The control is the square button at the far right of the header — two bars, or an X when the list is open. Open it. The seven planning views and the Library sit in order. A tap takes you there and closes the list. The same one-line instruction sits at the top of that list.

Palette, density and high contrast sit in the header itself, immediately left of that button. Reduced motion and chrome language are in View settings, in the accessibility bar at the bottom right of every page. On the smallest screens the compact palette chips sit inside the menu, under the view list; from a slightly wider phone they stay in the header.

Atmosphere OS in the header is home. This statement is linked in the footer of every page, alongside every planning view. Skip to main content is the first stop if you are using a keyboard or a switch — it clears the header rather than landing underneath it. Escape closes the menu and returns focus to the button. While the list is open the page behind it is inert.

Signature atmospheres on the home page move with Previous and Next, or the left and right arrow keys. Swiping the rail still works; it is not the only way.

Preferences

One document, saved in this browser. Plum, Pearl, or Color-safe. Comfortable or compact density. High contrast. Reduced motion. Chrome language. Nothing is sent to a server.

Palette, density and high contrast are in the header; reduced motion and chrome language are in View settings. Print to PDF sits beside it in the accessibility bar, and on every planning view.

Data stays local

An account is optional. Your plan stays in this browser until you save it somewhere else, and there are two somewhere elses: a file on your own machine, or an account. Print or copy a share link when you want to hand it on.

Being plain about the browser copy, because most tools are not: a browser is allowed to clear data a site has written. Safari does it after about a week without a visit, and Chromium does it when the disk is under pressure. Atmosphere asks to be exempt the first time you save, and the panel on the home page tells you which answer this browser gave. Clearing site data, a private window, or a different machine will not have your plan. Save the event to a file and none of that applies — it is readable JSON, it is yours, and we never see it.

Print

Every planning view and every vendor sheet is print-first. Use the browser print dialog and choose Save as PDF. Decorative plates and navigation are hidden in print.

Known limits

• Studio has a few inner controls that are not yet at the same standard as the rest of the suite.
• Planning-view copy is English. Chrome labels (settings, print, close) follow the language preference. We do not rewrite vendor briefs in another language — a silent rewrite would be a worse failure than an untranslated brief.
• Photographs from the media library need a network. The planning views do not.
